The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a collection of 17 interlinked Global Goals to transform our world. They were designed to be a “blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all” and part of the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Each of the 17 goals strive for the universal reduction of climate change and poverty, and the improvement of education, health, and economic growth. United Nations describes the SDGs as seeking to “protect the planet, and improve the lives and prospects of everyone, everywhere.” The SDG’s provide worldwide guidance for addressing each of these goals.

Mukhopadhyay Foundation has two proposed project to provide better future of Street, Working and School Dropout Children on the basis of following SDGs

1. To Provide Safe Shelter, Nutrition Through - "Sai Niwas" Hostel for Boys and Girls

2. To provide Quality Education and Vocational Training Through - Swami Vivekananda International Residential School for Boys and Girls

3. To provide Information Technology (IT) and Cyber Security Through - Syama Prasad Mukherjee School of Cyber Sequrity

DEVELOPMENT OF SMART VILLAGE THE SOUL OF INDIA

Smart Village is a concept adopted by national, state and local governments of India, as an initiative focused on holistic rural development, derived from Mahatma Gandhi's vision of Adarsh Gram (Ideal Village) and Swaraj (Self Reliance).

One of the issues of this project is to develop a Smart Village where Sai Niwas Boys’ and Girls' Hostel, Swami Vivekananda International Residential School and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee School of Cyber Security will be establish and this village will follow all the criteria of Government of India Guideline.
